Hi all! I know it seems a little early, but December and Luminaire will be here before we know it. With that, we'd like to put together a Secret Santa for the cult.

For those who haven't done a Secret Santa/Pollyanna before, it's pretty simple. Everyone gets a random person to give presents to give on Christmas (or in this case, on Lumineve!) You are not supposed to tell the person ahead of time and to keep it secret. Since Subeta has a lovely tree feature, we'd prefer you place your gifts under your Secret Santa's tree before Lumineve. That way, everyone will have a nice gift waiting for them when they come on Subeta!

Just to keep things a bit even, we are imposing a 250,000 sP spending limit on gifts. You can spend less than this if need be, but we'd prefer if no one spend more than that.

If you'd like to participate in our Secret Santa, please post here before December 1st! Secret Santas will be assigned on the 1st so that Santas can start their gifting as soon as possible.

We are not forcing anyone to participate, so if you'd like to sit this one out, no hard feelings! If you do sign up to participate, however, we kindly ask that you remember to give your Secret Santa something so that no one is left out. We will be reminding everyone closer to Lumineve in case there are some last minute shoppers out there.

We can't wait to spend this holiday season with you! We've really got a great group here, and we hope that continues. :)

[edit]As said a few posts down, anyone that signs up and does not give a gift will not be allowed to join any future giveaways. This includes giveaways outside of the Secret Santas! Don't be "that guy".

One question though. Is the budget for spending? Or for overall value? Does it count items you already own?

I'll add that to the first post too.

We'd like to keep the overall value of gifts to roughly 250k. So if you decide to use items you already have, you would go by their price in user shops. We can't stop anyone from "spending" a little over the limit, but we'd prefer it if we didn't have members giving out items that are worth millions.
